TREE_ART - Sometimes less is more

09/06/2025

Since quite some years I am experimenting more with red and black and my TREEs/ landscapes. I took the inspiration for this one in some old computergrafics of mine from the 90s and from my recyled color- archive. But firstmost it struck me, because of my deep love for trees as a child. I was fascinated by TREEs, and in our garden they 'had to be climbed'. They where like friends and when after many years my father decided to cut them all down, I was shocked and sad at the same time.

Working with empty space?

Yes, in a very emotional way, you can say that. Those feelings of having been cut off some dear TREEs resulted later in the passion to draw them, and of course deep inside of my Recycling Art Concept from 1990 I sought for a way to let them live again, bringing them to new live, spiritually reborn like here on that painting TREEofLIFE:

TREEofLIFE by Roland Kaiser, 30H x 40W x 1.5 cms acrylic on canvas, 2024 - I was shown this shining and glittering tree in a nightly visison, the view was panning from the stem to the branches on the left side, well at least from my point of view - Attention: color of the original is darker like here below, due to an active copyprotection!
